Rec league registration

The Columbia County Recreation Department is holding 2005 basketball and winter soccer registration until Nov. 6. Registration is available only at the Patriots Park administrative office. For more information, call 863-7523.

Fastpitch tryouts

The Georgia Rockers Fastpitch Organization will hold tryouts for their 2005 14-, 16- and 18-and-under travel teams Nov. 7 and Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. at Patriots Park. For more information, call Ike Branch at 860-3886 or Mike Leverett at 294-4736.

Racquetball tournament

Patriots Park will hold a racquetball tournament Nov. 12-14. The sign-up deadline is 6 p.m. Nov. 9. The cost is $10 for players 19 and older and free for juniors. For more information, call 868-3458.

Swim league open house

The Aiken-Augusta Swim League will be offering a two-week trial membership until Nov. 5 for all age groups at all sites. The Fitness Group is being offered for ages 13-18. Punting Academy

The Ray Guy/Prokicker.com Kicking Academy will take place Dec. 27-28 at ARC Stadium in Augusta. Applicants must pre-register to ensure acceptance. Cost is $350 and enrollment is limited. For more information, call (270) 843-8393.
