Services: Sunday morning Bible school, 9:30 a.m.; Sunday worship service, 10:45 a.m.; Bible study and youth groups, 7 p.m. Wednesday

Pastor: Michael Klaus

Congregation size: 80 adults, 50 children

Membership: Most who attend services are from Columbia, Aiken and Warren counties, Klaus said.

Founded: September 1999

Known for: "The building used to be A Child's World," he said. "We've renovated two buildings and built a third one. ... Anybody can walk in here and feel comfortable."

Music: The church has a choir that sings hymns and praise songs. The church uses instruments such as guitar, organ and piano.

"Our music is blended," Klaus said.

What would you say to someone who's thinking about giving your church a try?

"Put aside all of your preconceptions or your past disappointments and try again," he said.

What do you believe is the biggest issue facing the faithful today?

"A boldness to be real of their faith, to show it publicly and not be ashamed," Klaus said.
