Key Matchup: Greenbrier cornerbacks vs. Baldwin receivers.

Outlook: The Braves' twins, Jarvis and Nick, are legitimate Division I prospects. Mickey Derrick will have his hands full trying to shut them down.

Statesboro (6-0, 3-0) at Lakeside (2-2-1, 0-2)

7:30 Panther Stadium

Last Week: Lakeside fell to Jones County and Statesboro beat Evans.

Key Players: Statesboro-RB Charles Rock, RB Nick Wedlow, LB Tommy Watkins, DL Alex Dekle, QB David Cone, Lakeside-QB Jimmy Johnson, LB/RB Reggie Porter, RB Carl Burrow, OL Donovan Lowe, DB Chris Drayton.

Key Matchup: Lakeside defensive front vs. Statesboro backfield.

Outlook: Statesboro, the No. 1 team in AAAA, doesn't do anything fancy but will play a fundamentally perfect game.

Butler (2-4, 1-1) at Harlem (2-5, 0-3)

7:30 Harlem

Last Week: Harlem lost to Glenn Hills and Butler shut out Cross Creek.

Key Players: Butler-Tyrese Harris, RB D'Vante Lee, FB/LB Damien Bell, LB Stanley Dumas, Harlem-RB Gabe Greer, WR Jeremy Larson, QB Alex Hintz, RB Chris Newsome, OL Mark Boiter.

Key Matchup: Butler's defensive line vs. Harlem's option offense.

Outlook: Harlem lost 12-6 to Glenn Hills but created five turnovers. Harlem probably will have a tough time matching that effort

Effingham County (3-3, 1-2) at Evans (4-2, 2-1)

7:30 Blanchard Stadium

Last Week: Evans and Effingham County lost region games to Statesboro and Baldwin, respectively.

Key Players: Evans-QB Brad Freeman, WR Ryan Crislip, RB Cheng Ho, DB Jay Acree, LB Jonathan Amerson.

Key Matchup: Evans defensive line vs. Effingham County offensive line.

Outlook: The Rebels have dropped two region contests after winning their region opener against Lakeside. They should have a tougher time with Evans and the Knights running game.

Augusta Christian (3-3) at Cardinal Newman (4-2)

7:30 Columbia

Last Week: The Lions beat Porter Gaud, while Cardinal Newman lost big to Heathwood Hall.

Key Players: Augusta Christian-QB Lee Banks, TE/LB Toby Brown, OL/DL William Lyon, WR/DB James Hawes, RB Dillon Quick.

Key Matchup: Cardinal Newman defense vs. Augusta Christian's option offense.

Outlook: These two teams are familiar as they practiced in passing camps against each other during the summer.
