Oliver Hardy festival

Harlem's 16th Annual Oliver Hardy Festival will be Saturday. The day kicks off with a parade, followed by Laurel and Hardy skits, lookalike contest, local musical entertainment and more. Spaces for craft vendors also are available. For information, call 556-0401.

Community yard sale

A community yard sale will be from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at the Riverwatch Community Church, 3701 Old Petersburg Road in Martinez. For a free table spot or information, call 267-7135.

Safe kids day

Downtown Warrenton will offer a Safe Kids Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday . Ident-a-Kid will provide digitized Identification Cards for children 15 and younger for $6. The Warrenton Police Department will provide fingerprinting. There will also be pony rides, face-painting and more. For information, call 465-9604.
