Williams started his career in Columbia County working with the transition program at Evans High for four years before transferring to Harlem High.

In his first year at Harlem High, Williams has been recognized as the Teacher of the Year.

"Being selected as Teacher of the Year is such a blessing," he said. "I have a learning disability myself. I got into special education to help students that have had to struggle through school like I did."
