North Harlem Elementary Teacher of the Year

Lisa Long has been a fifth-grade teacher at North Harlem Elementary for three years. During the past 14 years, she has taught in McDuffie, Richmond and Columbia counties.

"I feel very honored to represent such a great faculty and staff," Long said.

As a teacher, she wants to instill the love of learning in all her pupils and have them realize that learning can be fun.
