The forum, to be held at the Evans High School Auditorium at 9 a.m., will offer the public a chance to ask Buccafusco about school-related topics.
"I don't have a plan to bring up topics," Buccafusco said. "This is totally going to be driven by the people who show up. They'll decide what's going to be discussed."
Some topics Buccafusco expects to be broached at the forum include SAT scores, the fate of the pillars and arches at Evans Middle School and school board policies.
"I won't have answers to all the questions immediately, but that will give me a chance to channel those questions to the right people," Buccafusco said.
Columbia County School Superintendent Tommy Price has agreed to attend the forum, Buccafusco said.
She also expects many other school board members to attend.
Although all school-related topics are up for discussion, Buccafusco said she doesn't intend to allow the forum to become a vehicle for campaign rhetoric.
The fourth board member to hold a forum this year, Buccafusco said school trustees who were up for election in November held their forums earlier in the year to prevent them from becoming politicized.
"I think that was a good plan to keep them from being political," she said.
"This is a listening forum, not a preaching forum."
