The Greenbrier Middle School Cheerleading Squad won four Superior Evaluation ribbons, two NCA Stunt Smart awards, the NCA Technical Excellence award in Stunting and the NCA Top Team award and trophy during the National Cheerleading Association Cheerleading Camp at Georgia College and State University in July. Team members are: Tess Kiser (front, from left) Rebecca Nimmons, Isra Rosales, Taylor Banford, Jazmine Hatcher and Brittney Weathers; Kristina Fiske (back, from left) Mallory Marlowe, Megan Ledford, Samantha May, Coach Amy Shenk, Haley Bowman, Megan Jackson, Ariel Knight, Jenna Kitchens and Melanie Ansley. Melanie Ansley, Mallory Marlow and Samantha May were named NCA All-American Cheerleaders and will have the opportunity to travel to Hawaii to appear in the half-time show during the Honolulu Bowl.
