Boomer and Beamer, 5-month-old Labrador retriever/Irish setter mix brothers, were turned into Columbia County Animal Care and Control by their owner because the young child in the house was scared of the playful puppies. Adult animals cost $25 to adopt and the adoption fee for puppies, such as today's Pets of the Week, and kittens cost $20. All animals must be spayed or neutered.
