School councils

Bel Air Elementarys school council will meet 7:15 a.m. Tuesday in the media center, and set the schedule of meetings for the rest of the year.

Lakeside Middle Schools council will meet Tuesday and on Oct. 12, Feb. 8 and April 19.

Harlem Middle Schools council will meet at 4 p.m. in the office conference room Aug. 18, Nov. 11, Feb. 9 and May 11.

South Columbia Elementary Schools council will meet at 7:15 a.m. Aug. 24 in the media center to approve bylaws, set a yearly calendar and elect officers.

Columbia Middles school council will meet at the school at 8 a.m. Aug. 30, Oct. 14, Jan. 10, March 7 and May 2.

Evans Elementary Schools council will meet in the media center at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 13, Nov. 8, Feb. 7 and May 2. For information, call 863-1202.

Preschool, MDO signups

Trinity Baptist preschool, 4594 Columbia Road, is accepting

West Acres Baptist Church is accepting registration for its mothers day out program for children ages 18 months to 4 years. For

Registration is available for Marvin United Methodist preschool for children ages 2-4 years. For information, call 798-6870.

Martinez United Methodist preschool will hold registration from noon to 4 p.m. today and Thursday. There also is space available for the mothers day out program. For information, call 863-0229.
