Rec league registration

The Columbia County Recreation Department will hold registration for football, cheerleading, baseball, softball and soccer through Aug. 14 at the Patriots Park administrative office. For information, call 863-7523.

Swim tryouts

The Aiken Augusta Swim League will hold tryouts Aug. 5 at the Augusta Aquatic Center and Aug. 6 at the USC-Aiken Natatorium. Tryouts will begin at 5 p.m.

Coach, ref courses

The Columbia County Patriots will hold an "E" certificate coaching course Aug. 6-8 and a "D" certificate course Aug. 13-15 and 20-22 at Patriots Park.

An "R9" entree-level referee course will be held Aug. 13-14, with a USSF recertification course Aug. 15. For information, call Donny Rogers at 399-0252.
