Endorsement: Wade Padgett, Chief Magistrate

On Election Day, it is often difficult to discern which candidate is the best choice to serve as an elected official. This is not the case in Columbia County's race for chief magistrate judge. One candidate stands head and shoulders above his opponents, and that candidate is J. Wade Padgett. Padgett is the only candidate with both extensive judicial and legal experience. His active community and church involvement precedes by years his decision to run for public office. Wade has earned a stellar reputation in Columbia County. He is without question a man of integrity.

My vote on July 20 is powerful, and it is a direct reflection of the qualities, morals, and ideals by which I choose to govern myself. The only candidate who possesses and exceeds the high standards which I have established in my own life is J. Wade Padgett. He is the only candidate for chief magistrate judge worthy of the title "Your Honor."
