Swim tryouts

The Aiken Augusta Swim League will hold tryouts July 13 and Aug. 6 at the USC-Aiken Natatorium and July 14 and Aug. 5 at the Augusta Aquatic Center. Tryouts will begin at 5 p.m.

Tennis/swim club

Petersburg Racquet Club in Martinez is offering summer tennis/swim camps each week through the end of July. Camps run 9 a.m.-noon Monday-Friday. For information, call 860-9288.

Tennis tournament

The 2004 Mark Brown Memorial Junior Tennis Tournament will be Sunday-Tuesday at Petersburg Racquet Club in Martinez. The tournament is a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society's Richmond-Columbia Unit. For information, call 860-9288.

Basketball camp

Sure-Shot Basketball Camps for elementary school age will be from 9 a.m. to noon July 19-23 at Lakeside Middle School; cost is $75. For middle school children, camps are 1-4:30 p.m. July 19-23 at Lakeside Middle. Cost is $80. For either camp, call Tom Weidenaar or Dave Pitock at 855-6900.
