Consultant's jargon can't sell Whittle's foe

In the last 10 years I have come to fully support and appreciate the leadership of Sheriff Clay Whittle. It is important that the citizens of Columbia County take the time to dig through the hired consultant's jargon pushing the election of Lewis Blanchard.

When they say "business success," you and I would say it for what it is: he made a lot of money selling Masters Tickets. When they say he is an "administrator," average guys would say, "he sold a lot of whiskey at his two bars and nightclubs in Richmond County." When they talk about his law-enforcement background, the fact is he was a high school security guard -- a hall monitor!

I was in law enforcement for 15 years, and as a homeowner in Columbia County I do not desire to see a bar owner as head of our law enforcement. Serving the public liquor is significantly different from serving the public with a quality sheriff's office.
