Tennis/swim club

Petersburg Racquet Club in Martinez is offering summer tennis/swim camps each week through the end of July. Camps run 9 a.m.-noon Monday-Friday. For information, call 860-9288.

Tennis tournament

The 2004 Mark Brown Memorial Junior Tennis Tournament will be July 11-13 at Petersburg Racquet Club in Martinez. The tournament is a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society's Richmond-Columbia Unit. For information, call 860-9288.

Tryouts are being held for a tournament baseball team that is seeking players to compete in under-13 tournaments. For information, call 541-0346.

Volleyball camp

The Evans High School Lady Knights Volleyball Camp will be 9 a.m.-noon Monday-Thursday at the school. The camp is open to girls in grades 6-9, and space is limited. Cost is $50. For information, call CeCe Armstrong at 863-1198.

Basketball camp

Sure-Shot Basketball Camps for elementary school age will be from 9 a.m. to noon July 19-23 at Lakeside Middle School; cost is $75. For middle school children, camps are 1-4:30 p.m. July 19-23 at Lakeside Middle. Cost is $80. For either camp, call Tom Weidenaar or Dave Pitock at 855-6900.

Football conditioning

Volleyball clinics

Staff from Coker College will offer half-day volleyball clinics Tuesday and Wednesday for middle- and high-school students.
