Teachers show dedication by participating in fund-raising work

I just wanted to let everyone know how proud we are of teachers who live and work in Columbia County.

Even during their summers off they are training and running marathons to honor and raise awareness and research funding for children and adults in our communities who have leukemia and lymphoma-related illnesses.

There is one teacher who lives in Grovetown and teaches in McCormick County and at least two teachers who teach at Lakeside Middle School who will be running in the race.
