Candidate for magistrate judge Ingram is 'real, people-oriented'

I am writing to express my friendship and endorsement of attorney Richard Ingram. I am asking you to elect him as Columbia County Magistrate Court judge....

Many of you have heard of my plight. I am the mother of the toddler who fell into a bucket of mop water at his daycare. On May 15, the governor signed a bill into law regarding child daycare centers and disclosure of liability insurance.

Ingram played a major role in assisting me with getting this much needed bill passed. I met Richard a few days into my ordeal. I can personally attest to his character because from that point on he has been instrumental in my efforts to protect children.

I am a devout Christian and a licensed and ordained minister, and it brought joy to my heart because the first quality I noticed about Ingram was his being a Christian.

Every Saturday morning when I was walking to bring awareness to my cause, Ingram was there walking beside me at 7 a.m. I saw then his belief in standing up for what was right and honorable, notwithstanding that he was humble and down-to-earth. I soon realized that this was a man who is real and people-oriented. Ingram was up at this time of the morning after practicing law all week to walk 2 miles with people he had never met but understood the cause.

Ingram handled my case from start to finish knowing that I was financially incapable of paying him, but his fine character and strong desire to place what was right over a dollar kept him working tediously to ensure protection for the children of Georgia. His legal expertise and handling of my case was outstanding. ...
