The deadline for voter registration for the July 20 General Primary is Monday, June 21 at 5p.m. If you are not registered prior to this date, you will not be allowed to participate in this election. Please remember you must be a resident of Columbia County and at least 18 years of age to vote.
Absentee voting will begin Monday. If you are 75 years of age or older, physically disabled, required to remain on duty for the protection of health, life and safety of the public, if this election falls on a religious holiday you observe, or, will be out of your precinct on Election Day, you may come by the Board of Elections office and vote absentee.
Advanced voting will be the week of July 12-16. To vote during this week, you will not have to provide our office with a reason. Our office is located in the Evans Government Complex Center, building B and is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
