Slippery when wet

Westbound traffic moves slowly on Interstate 20 between the Belair Road and Grovetown exits during a brief but intense thunderstorm that swept through the area Wednesday. Three vehicles ran off the road on this stretch of highway within about 20 minutes, and authorities reported 12 crashes around the county during the storm, resulting in only minor injuries.
