Food festival

The American Breast Cancer Association will hold a tribute to mothers food festival from 7-10 p.m. May 14 at Savannah Rapids Pavilion, with food and desserts from area restaurants, music, dancing and a silent auction. For information, call 860-8127.

Spring crafts

The Residents Council and The Crafty Ladies of Windermere Nursing Home will hold their spring craft bazaar from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at Windermeres front lobby, 3618 J. Dewey Gray Circle, across from Doctors Hospital. Proceeds from the sale of craft items are used to beautify the memory garden and purchase craft supplies.

Rape counseling

Students sought

Rotary District 6910, which covers most of north Georgia, is interviewing youths interested in attending high school overseas for a year as part of an international exchange program. Gardening at lunch

Israel Experience

Diabetic screenings

Free diabetic retinopathy screenings will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 19 at the Harlem/Grovetown Health Department, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 25 at the Evans Health Department. The screenings will be conducted by MCG Health System, Emory Eye Center and the state Department of Human Resources.
