Cheerleading tryouts

Parent information meetings will be today at Hayden's Cheer Gym for Hayden's Allstar Cheerleading Program. The meeting will be at 1:30 p.m. for parents of children grade 6 and below, and at 4 p.m. for grades 7-12. The meetings are in preparation for tryouts for the program, which will be May 2. Preparation clinics will be Monday through Saturday . Boys and girls are eligible, with no experience necessary. For information, call Leslie Anderson, 868-0608.

Lakeside fund-raiser

The Lakeside High School Athletic Association will hold a fund-raiser 6-8 p.m. Monday to raise funds for retirement of the debt for the lights on the softball field. Activities will include a celebrity home run contest and a five-inning game featuring local celebrities, school officials and political leaders, and games for all ages. Golf tournament

The Harlem High Drama Boosters and The Fox's Lair will hold a golf tournament Friday to raise funds for the drama troupe's trip to Scotland. The tournament will begin with a 1 p.m. shotgun start at Pointe South Golf Course, with a cookout and auction to follow at Fox's Lair. For information, call Carol Ayer, 306-5662.

Southern Mpact will have 2004-05 Allstar Cheerleading tryouts May 3-8, with a parents' meeting 5:30 p.m. May 3. Participants 12th grade and younger are invited. For information, call 737-2727.

Baseball Camp

Volleyball camp

The Fourth Annual Greenbrier Volleyball Camp for girls in grades 6-9 will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 7-10 at the Greenbrier High School gym. Space is limited. For information call coach Debbie Born, 650-6043.

Prep volleyball camp
