The Augusta Junior Lynx 10- and 11-year-old squirt team recently finished runner-up for the McCaig Cup during a regional ice hockey tournament in Charleston, S.C. The team earned the top seed in the March 7 finals by defeating Charleston 6-3; Hillsborough, N.C., 6-1; and Raleigh, N.C., 2-1. The team lost to Charlotte, N.C., 4-0 in the championship game.
