Harlem Drama thanks supporters, seeks more as festival approaches

Harlem High Drama's endeavors and hard work have continued to bring the group closer to the shores of the British Isles, the 2004 Fringe Festival and closer toward their goal of $120,000. The troupe and boosters organization continue to work on a variety of fundraisers which include performances and outside sponsored events for the community. At present they have raised more than $80,000 towards their goal, but are still diligently pushing ahead.
They have performed at the Georgia Parents in Education conference in Athens. Also, drama students have performed The Tomato Plant Girl for North Harlem, Euchee and Grovetown elementary schools. The Fox's Lair will sponsor a golf tournament on April 30. Please contact Carol Ayers at 774-1004 for more information and details on the tournament. Students are currently in rehearsals for the Spring Musical, Babes in Arms to be produced May 13-15.
