Betsy Bingo

The Martinez-Evans Little Leagues Betsy Bingo will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 17 at Kelley Field on Old Petersburg Road in Martinez. The event includes games, food, prizes, a home-run derby, raffles and an auction with guest auctioneer state Rep. Ben Harbin. All proceeds support the Little League.

Asthma screenings

The Neighborhood Im-provement Project and its Clearing the Air Project-Asthma Awareness Cam-paign will conduct asthma screenings 1-4 p.m. April 23 at the Harlem Library. The screenings are free, but reservations are required. For information, call 790-4440, extension 115.

Child-care first aid

SAFE Kids of East Central Georgia and the MCG Childrens Center will present an emergency first aid and injury prevention program for child-care providers 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 17 at the main conference center of the Child-rens Medical Center. Cost is $10. For information, call 721-5437.

Driver safety class

The AARP Driver Safety Program will hold a driver safety class for drivers over 50 from 1-5 p.m. April 19-20 at Gibbs Library in Evans. Registration is required, and costs $10. For information call 863-1946.
