Lucy the Leprechaun, portrayed by Jody Scott, celebrated Saint Patrick's Day in her third-grade
classroom at Lewiston Elementary School. The class enjoys using themes, such as leprechauns, across the
curriculum. Lucy the Leprechaun and the class made a math graph with Lucky Charms cereal, wrote about catching a leprechaun in a leprechaun trap and
discussed the different traditions of Ireland for social studies. To end the day, the class had a science
experiment with lime sherbet and green punch.
