Lakeside plant sale
The Lakeside Panther Athletic Association is conducting its annual spring plant sale through Friday. Boston ferns, hanging baskets and impatiens are available. Swimming clinics
Youth in the CSRA who want to brush up on stroke techniques are encouraged to register for clinics offered by the Aiken-Augusta Swim League (ASL). The Augusta clinic is scheduled at the Augusta State University pool March 29 through April 2 (no class April 1), from 6 to 7 p.m. The Aiken clinic is scheduled at the University of South Carolina-Aiken pool April 5-8, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The cost at each facility is $40 per swimmer.
A series of Saturday morning clinics, titled Get Ready for Summer, are offered from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. each Saturday in April and May 1. Swimmers can enroll in all five sessions for $50, or $15 per session.
To enroll children ages 6-18, contact ASL head coach David McDevitt at 860-9679. The name and age of the child can also be e-mailed to the coach at aslswim@comcast.net.
Youth baseball
Registration for the Family Y's baseball program for children ages 4-12 will begin Monday and continue through April 3 at the Wheeler Branch, 3532 Wheeler Road. Registration hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. The program features team play. Games begin in May, and are played weekday evenings. Program levels include T-Ball School (ages 4-5); T-Ball (ages 6-7); Machine Pitch I (ages 8-9); and Machine Pitch II (ages 10-12). Fees vary according to membership status (member, bronze or non-member). All participants must be the age specified in their program level by June 1, 2004. Basketball camp

Y fitness program
The Family Y Par Fitness youth golf program will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday from May 22-June 16 at the Wilson Family Y on Wheeler Road, and at First Tee of Augusta on Damascus Road. Registration deadline is May 26. For information, call 733-1030.
