Harlem tourney

Wednesday is the deadline for entries in the Harlem Relay for Life Softball Tournament, which will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Harlem City Park. Registration costs $5 per player, and proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. Minimum age for players is 16. For information, call 556-8335, or 556-9713.

Free lacrosse clinics

The Family Y and the Aiken-Augusta Lacrosse Club Youth Lacrosse Program is held 6-7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through May 1 at the Doctors Hospital field. For more details call Donna Pope at the Marshall Branch Family Y, 364-3269, or visit www.thefamilyy.org.

Baseball tournament

The Icebreaker Tournament for youth baseball teams will be Friday and Saturday at Riverside Park. Age groups include 14-, 13-, 12-, 11- and 10-and under divisions. The age-control date is August 2004. The cost is $250, and teams are guaranteed three games. For more information, contact Kelvin Lampkin at 312-7410.

Free tennis lessons

Petersburg Racquet Club in Martinez will offer free adult tennis lessons 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, and 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays. These lessons are for beginning adult players. A six week follow-up program will be offered beginning March 18. Petersburg also is offering free lessons for juniors 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday. You do not have to be a member of PRC to attend. Lakeside plant sale

The Lakeside Panther Athletic Association is conducting its annual spring plant sale through March 19. Boston ferns, hanging baskets and impatiens are available. Contact Linda Lake at 860-4881 or Harry Revell at 860-2466, or any Lakeside athlete or LPAA member for an order form. Plants will be delivered to the school the week before Masters. The Alzheimer's Association Augusta Regional Office will hold its annual golf tournament March 22 at The River Golf Club with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. For information, call 731-9060.
