Baseball tournament
The Icebreaker Tournament for youth baseball teams will be March 13-14 at Riverside Park. Age groups include, 14-, 13-, 12-, 11- and 10-and under divisions. The age-control date is August 2004. Free tennis lessons
Petersburg Racquet Club in Martinez will offer free adult tennis lessons 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday and Thursday, March 11, and 10:30 a.m. to noon on the next two Saturdays (March 6 and 13). These lessons are for beginning adult players. A six-week follow-up program will be offered beginning March 18. Petersburg also is offering free lessons for junior the next two Saturdays from 9 to 10:15 a.m. You do not have to be a member of PRC to attend. For more information, contact Craig Jones at 860-9288.
Luncheon speaker
Bobby Richardson, a former second baseman for the New York Yankees, is the scheduled commencement speaker for the 2004 Good Scout Luncheon at noon today, presented by the Georgia-Carolina Council, Boy Scouts of America. Golf membership
