Irish Festival

The Augusta Irish-American Heritage Society's Irish Festival, titled A Day in Ireland, will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday on Augusta Common.

Attic sale

The Junior League of Augusta's 52nd Annual Attic Sale will be 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Augusta Exchange Club Fairgrounds. Admission is free, and proceeds benefit community programs and services of the Junior League. For information or to donate items for the sale, call 736-0033.

Wild-game event

The Augusta West Rotary Club will hold A Taste of Something Wild, a wild-game tasting to benefit the Alzheimer's Association of Augusta. The fund-raiser will be 5:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Julian Smith Barbecue Pit. For more information, call 731-9060.

Ministry anniversary

The Deacons, Deaconess and Trustee Ministries of Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church will have an anniversary celebration at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. Lessel Leonard of Green Grove Baptist Church in Augusta.

The church's Beautification Ministry will celebrate its anniversary at 10:45 a.m. March 28, with the Rev. Hardie Davis of Abundant Life Ministries. For information, call 860-7091.
