License likely for Evans restaurant
Let's try to put emotion aside and be clear about this: Tuesday's County Commission debate over the fate of a liquor license for Rhinehart's Oyster Bar, and last year's refusal by the Columbia County School Board to waive legal rules for that application, aren't in the same category.

Season ends swimmingly for Evans athlete

The inaugural Daniel Hall & Shane Williams Memorial Golf Tournament will be Saturday at Rocky Branch Golf Club in Lincoln County. The tournament honors the two Greenbrier High School golfers who were killed in an automobile crash last year. Funds raised in the event will help built a golf practice area at Greenbrier, with the facility being dedicated to the lives and memories of Hall and Williams.
