High-schoolers 'don't care one bit' about design of county logo

I do not understand what is happening to the current logo of Columbia County. Honestly I think it should stay the same. I have seen the three current logos in competition with each other.

The leaders say it's too expensive to replicate the current logo. Let's see here; one of the reasons it's expensive to replicate is because it has more than one or two colors. These other logos have two or more colors, with the exception of the black and white logo. Getting to the black and white logo, one of the reasons the logo is too expensive to replicate is that it is too detailed. Details are costly. All three logos should be omitted from the competition, and simpler, less-detailed designs should be applied to the new concept of the county trying to save money. The money needs to go out of the commissioners' pockets and into something we need.

There also is the issue of letting high schoolers pick the design. As a high schooler myself, I do not care what the county logo says because I will be out of this county in less than two years, and picking a logo that is possibly going to cost more money and does not affect my life decisions is not applicable to my style.

I do what I believe. Leave these decisions to the county commissioners' constituents. High schoolers do not care one bit.
