Residents seeking to protect neighborhoods can join CHANGE

This is an invitation to all homeowners and neighborhood associations to join the e-mail group of the Coalition of Homeowners And Neighborhoods interested in Columbia County's Growth and our neighborhood Environ-ments (CHANGE).

The purpose of CHANGE is to bring together (via an e-mail response network) a countywide group of homeowners and neighborhood associations who are interested in learning more about how the County's Growth Management Plan will impact our homes and neighborhoods. CHANGE will inform and support all homeowners throughout the county when rezoning decisions impact homes and neighborhood environments and provide a fast and easy way to give input and voice opinions.

CHANGE will also provide a forum to seek and support County Commis-sion candidates who will be advocates for homeowners and neighborhoods. CHANGE will provide a united and consolidated voice from all homeowners to eliminate the "not in my back yard" or "not in my district" mindset.

CHANGE is a volunteer group of citizens interested in protecting the environments near our homes and neighborhoods. Participation is free. If you are interested in being included in our coalition, e-mail us at iamforchange@aol.com and ask to be added to our email group.
