County officials learn to tax from Augusta?

Are the clowns in Augusta rubbing off on the Columbia County bosses?

It seems like not too long ago the bosses cut the ribbon at the expensive government complex. Now the bosses need more room. The tag (tax) talking heads cant collect enough money in such a cramped space that cost a lot of taxpayer money. Is this planning, or do they know the landlord of the building they want to rent from?

I think The Columbia County News-Times should tell its readers how much a wage-earner pays in hidden taxes - you know, like fees and permits such as fishing, hunting, business, a day-at-the-lake tax. Everything seems to be taxed or permitted by the bosses.

I am certain that if they could peek into our bedrooms, there would be a sleep-with-your-wife tax.
