Ballet performance

Julia Foley Morgan, formerly of the Augusta Ballet, will perform a new, original ballet solo, Shining in the Dark, as a sermon in dance based on St. John's gospel, at Church of the Holy Comforter 10:30 a.m. Sunday as part of the worship service. Christmas service

Bible Cathedral, 1116 Furys Ferry Road, Evans, will hold a candlelight and communion Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. today.

Museum closed

The Morris Museum of Art and its gift shop will close at 4 p.m. today and will be closed Christmas Day. The museum will reopen at 10 a.m. Friday and resume normal business hours. For more information, call 724-7501.
