Christmas cantata

Marvin United Methodist Church, 4400 Wheeler Road, will present its annual Cantata 7 p.m. today. Titled the Festival of Lights, the production will feature children, youth and adult choirs.

Christmas play

Sharon Baptist Church will continue its annual living portrayal of the life of Christ from 7-9:30 p.m. today at the Columbia County Fairgrounds. Visitors will ride a hay wagon to each live scene. Holiday escape

Musician Jim McGaw will perform from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the Morris Museum of Art's Holiday Escape. The museum's gift shop also will be open for last-minute shopping. Admission is free. For more information, call 724-7501.

Museum closed
