Dual meet results
The Lakeside and Evans high school swimming and diving teams competed in a dual meet Dec. 4 at Augusta Aquatics Center. The Lady Panthers beat the Evans girls 165-135, and the Knights topped the Panthers 159-137.
Event winners were as follows:

Aloha Meet
The Lakeside High School swimming and diving teams took titles at the Aloha Meet last weekend at Augusta Aquatic Center. The Lakeside girls posted 491 points to lead the nine-team field, while the Lakeside boys scored 317 points to top seven other squads, including Greenbrier, which placed second with 352.50 points.
The Lady Wolfpack finished fourth (302), and the Evans girls were fifth (255). The Evans Knights scored 309.50 to take fourth in the boys' meet.

Girls - 200 individual medley, CJ Hendry, Evans (2:19.10); 1-meter diving, Courtney Ward, Lakeside (356.40); 100 butterfly, Rebekah Moody, Evans (1:01.18); 200 freestyle relay, Evans (1:46.91); 100 backstroke, CJ Hendry, Evans (1:02.41); 100 breast stroke, Rebekah Moody, Evans (1:11.65).
Lakeside player commits
Rebecca Bohler, a senior at Lakeside High School, has committed to play soccer at Samford University, a Division I program in Birmingham, Ala. Bohler has been a three-year starter at Lakeside, and is a member of the state and regional Olympic Development Program. As a junior for the Lady Panthers last season, she was selected to the All-Region 3-AAAA team. Bohler plans to major in nursing at Samford.
Volleyball clinics
Augusta Juniors will hold Tuesday night volleyball clinics Jan. 6 through mid-April. The clinics run from 7 to 9 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church in Martinez. The clinics are for middle school and high school players who want to sharpen their volleyball skills. Pre-registration is required.
