Kristy Zgol (left) and Honey Evans fasten together a chicken-wire frame for the giant snowman that will be on the Bel Air Elementary School float in the Martinez Christmas Parade, which starts at 2 p.m. today. The parade route starts at the Columbia Square shopping center at Washington and Flowing Wells roads and heads east on Washington Road.
