Lakeside softball awards

A banquet to honor the Lakeside High School softball team was Nov. 12 at the school. The Lady Panthers went 29-11 this season, the best record in school history. They ranked sixth in Class AAAA ball. Individual aweard winners are: Audrey Blackman (from left), Junior Varsity Best Offensive Player; Sam Wannamaker, tied for varsity best offensive player; Hillary Hall, varsity MVP; Jamie Lake, four-year letterman award and best offensive player; M.J. Trahan, four-year letterman award; Ansley Evans, varsity best defensive player and four-year letterman award; Cassandra Giles, junior varsity best defensive player.
