With his wife, Donna, looking on, Lee Anderson is sworn in Nov. 17 by Probate Judge Pat Hardaway as the new Columbia County District 4 commissioner. Anderson picked up 55 percent of the vote in the Nov. 4 election to avoid a runoff. He will serve the remaining year in the term of Mark Devoti, who resigned in September to accept a job in Virginia.
