Baseball tryouts

The Georgia A's nationally recognized baseball program will be holding tryouts Saturday for age groups 15-and-under and 16-and-under. The tryouts begin at noon and conclude at 4 p.m. on the Senior baseball field at Patriots Park. Players need to bring proper baseball attire and equipment. The cost is $25. Pitching camp

Former Atlanta Braves pitcher Greg McMichael will hold a pitching camp on 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 22 at Hardball Warehouse in Evans. McMichael pitched 10 seasons in the major league, and played for Atlanta, the New York Mets and Los Angeles. The cost is $50. Winter baseball camps are being conducted at Hardball Warehouse, 640 South Old Belair Road in Evans. The camps will be each night during the week. Sessions are conducted by current professional players or scouts. For more information call Roger Wilkinson at 833-4588.
