Former Evans coach ill-treated in removal from team position

After reading the column by Mike Howell in Sundays News-Times, I couldnt just let such an injustice go by without commenting on it.

I cant believe that the Evans High School principal is that stupid. Asking Dave Machovec for his concerns about the athletic program then turning around and stabbing him in the back is spineless. When my son had the privilege of playing football for Coach Machovec at Lakeside, you couldnt ask for a better coach. He instilled into my son values such as commitment, loyalty, honor and above all standing up for yourself and what you believe in.

There is no finer coach in all of Columbia County. Machovec puts his heart and soul into coaching and this is how he is treated. Evans doesnt deserve a coach like Machovec, not if their insane principal is going to act like a 2-year old.

Why doesnt the booster club at Evans call Lakesides booster club? Maybe they could give them some pointers on how to get rid of a principal.
