Riverside Military cadets promoted after camp

Riverside Military Academy, an all-male college preparatory boarding school for young men in grades 7-12, has awarded promotions to cadets after the academy's annual leadership camp.

These cadets exhibited outstanding leadership skills and will serve as role models within the academy's Corps of Cadets, which represents nearly 400 students from 36 states and 13 countries.

The following are local cadets who were recently promoted:

Lee Moretz of Augusta was promoted to sergeant first class. He is in the 12th grade and is the son of David and Julie Moretz.

Worth Andrews of Augusta was promoted to sergeant. He is in the ninth grade and is the son of Worth and Phillipa Andrews.

Chris Brown of Evans was promoted to sergeant. He is in the ninth grade and is the son of Kenneth and Julie Brown.

Caleb Rome of Evans was promoted to sergeant. He is in the 10th grade and is the son of Scott and Lynn Rome.

Austin Jabour of Martinez was promoted to sergeant first class. He is the 11th grade and is the son of Donna Jabour.
