Columbia County educator Judy Teasley has been elected to a three-year-term on the Professional Association of Georgia Educators board of directors.

This is her second term serving the more than 54,000 member professional organization, the largest such group in Georgia. She will represent the group's Tenth District through June 30, 2006.

Teasley, a social studies teacher at Greenbrier High School, has been an active PAGE member, serving as regional coordinator for the PAGE Foundation Academic Bowl for Middle Grades for the past several years.

The election took place earlier this summer during the PAGE annual convention.
