All-American Cheerleaders

Four Lakeside Middle School cheerleaders were named All-American Cheerleaders by the National Cheerleaders Association at the NCA summer cheerleading camp, which was held in Athens at the University of Georgia July 17-20. Colleen Gaughan (from left), Ellie Bissell, Kerri Phillips and Amanda Stephens were named All-Americans, and are invited to perform at either the Orange Bowl in Miami on Jan. 1 or at the Hula Bowl in Hawaii on Jan. 17. Also, Lakeside Middle cheerleaders Katherine Beul, Jana Edwards and Melody Scharff were nominated to try out.
