Realtor earns specialist award

Giri Venkatraman, a Columbia County Realtor, has been awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors.

Realtors who receive the designation have completed advanced courses and have demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Only 35,000 realtors nationwide have earned the credential.

Giri Venkatraman is a Realtor with Meybohm Realtors in Augusta. He is a member of the Greater Augusta Board of Realtors.

USC Dean's List

The University of South Carolina's School of Music has notified Steven Smolley that he has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2002 and Spring 2003 semesters. Steven is a former home-school student and will be a sophomore at USC, Columbia, this fall. His major is Organ Performance. He is the son of Andrew & Patricia Smolley of Harlem.
