Evans softball

The Evans High School softball team will begin its tryouts at 9 a.m. Monday at the Evans softball field. Players need a current physical and insurance form to participate.

Lakeside softball

The Lakeside High School softball team will begin practice at 4 p.m. Monday at the Lakeside softball field. Players must have a current physical and proof of insurance to participate.

Greenbrier volleyball

The Greenbrier High School volleyball team will hold tryouts next week, beginning Monday, at the Greenbrier Middle School gymnasium. The tryouts will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Swimming tryouts

The Aiken-Augusta Swim League, a year-round, nonprofit swim team, will hold a tryout session for the 2003-04 season. Swimmers must be able to complete 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke. The tryouts are Tuesday at Augusta State University.
