AC grad earns intern slot
Augusta Christian Schools graduate Billy Byler has been selected to work as an intern for Titans Radio, Titans Radio executive producer Larry Stone announced last week.
"Sports broadcasting has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid," Byler said. "Hopefully this is just an initial step in the right direction. My goal is to learn as much as I can and contribute as much as possible."
Byler recently finished his sophomore year at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn., where he is majoring in mass communications. Byler has radio experience as a sports broadcaster for Trevecca basketball games.
"Billy has already shown a willingness to work hard and develop his skills," Stone said. "I am excited about having the chance to work with him this summer."
Byler will join an intern staff of 13 top students from around the South to assist the Titans Radio crew in their preparation for the Tennessee Titans upcoming NFL season.
