Evans High School Knight Battalion Commander Michael Rivera (from left) stands with his parents, Helen Rivera and Army Col. David Rivera. The battalion held its annual spring review just before the end of the school year. Rivera's father, chief of surgery at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, reviewed the troops.
Michael will follow his older brother, David Jr., into the Citadel in the fall. Col. Rivera commanded an Army hospital in Kosovo and David Jr. just returned from Operation Iraqi Freedom after serving with a Patriot missile battery.
