Truck overturns

The driver of this Chevrolet S-10 pickup walked away with only a scratch on his thumb after a Thursday afternoon accident, according to Columbia County Sheriffs Lt. Andrew Shedd. Stephen Goldman, 17, of Evans, swerved to miss a van entering his lane on North Belair Road, when he lost control of the pickup, hit a curb and flipped. The accident occurred near Prairie Lane and partially blocked one lane of traffic.
