Martinez Fire Department Chief Doug Cooper accepts a phone from Nextel Manager Jessie Queck during a ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony for the new Nextel location in West Town Shopping center Tuesday morning. Part of the ceremony included donating $6.000 worth of wireless phones and service to the Martinez Fire Department.
